From April 30 to May 1, Fastex participated in Token 2049 Dubai as a platinum sponsor, standing alongside the most influential names in the Web3 and crypto ecosystem. Token 2049 is a premier global event that brings together industry leaders, innovators, and investors to showcase the newest developments across blockchain and decentralized technologies. 

 

At the event, Fastex presented its next-generation Web3 ecosystem, highlighting its well-recognized solutions and products, including the YoWallet crypto-custodial wallet, and Fastex’s preferred Bahamut blockchain, which operates with the innovative PoSA Consensus mechanism.

 

The day before the main event, on April 29, Fastex co-hosted a legal and compliance side event in collaboration with Solidus Labs and Delphine Forma. Taking place at the ftNFT Phygital Space in Dubai Mall’s Chinatown, the event welcomed leading minds in crypto regulation and compliance for a Crypto Compliance and Legal Breakfast.

 

Fastex also held the Future Confidence conference, during which the company presented a series of new developments across its ecosystem. These included the YoHealth app promoting a healthy lifestyle, the YoPhone, YoSIM, YoBlog, as well as the Bahamut Grants program, along with PercentMe , a DeFi lending and borrowing protocol built on the Bahamut blockchain and backed by the Bahamut Grants Program.

Fastex’s presence attracted significant attention, with YoHealth brand ambassador and global football icon and former Manchester United star Patrice Evra visiting the stand and engaging with attendees. Vardan Khachatryan, Chief Legal Officer and Board Member at Fastex, had a keynote speech on the IO.NET main stage titled “DeFi and the Law: What Regulation Should - and Shouldn’t - Do in a Decentralized World,”. He spoke about the importance of avoiding overregulation, what steps lawmakers should take to support DeFi growth, and what could go wrong if that balance isn’t maintained.

Fastex co-hosted LONGITUDE event with Cointelegraph, bringing together 350 top industry guests for high-level discussions, networking, and insights from leading blockchain media voices.

Throughout the conference, Mr. Khachatryan held industry discussions with representatives from NEAR Protocol, Tezos, and data analytics platform Nansen, exploring the balance between innovation and regulatory alignment.
