In ancient mythology, Bahamut was a giant fish or sea monster that supported the earth, lying deep below the surface of the water. It was said to be so massive that it could swallow entire oceans and its scales were believed to be impenetrable.
Fastex, a complete web3-driven ecosystem, has taken inspiration from this mythical creature in developing its new-generation blockchain platform, Bahamut Сhain. Like the giant creature that supports the earth, the Bahamut Chain is designed to provide a stable foundation for Web3 companies, including the entire ecosystem of Fastex and various decentralised applications
On May 3, 2023, the Bahamut Сhain launched its Sahara Mainnet with its execution layer Caravan and consensus layer Bedouin. This marks an exciting milestone for the Fastex ecosystem and its community, which will be able to utilise its advantages and take part in the activity of the network and get rewarded accordingly.
One of the most significant attributes of the Bahamut Chain is its validator program. In the PoSA consensus mechanism, the role of validators is analogous to that of miners in the PoS consensus mechanism. The validator program offers 20480 available spots, of which 4000 have been secured via a staking pool and independent validators.
Participating in the validator program is an excellent way to provide stability and security to the network while fostering decentralisation.
