On April 19, on the eve of the opening of the 60th Jubilee Biennale, the most prestigious art exhibition, the AKNEYE Phygital Space was opened at Ramo de la Tana 2124a, Venice.
The red ribbon was cut by Vigen Badalyan, co-founder of Fastex, and Daniel Danielyan, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia. Venice was crowded in this cozy corner, where famous artists Raffi Yedalian and Elena Metreveli presented their artworks, visitors enjoyed the event, got acquainted with the unique world of NFTs and made new acquaintances, laying the foundation for future collaborations.
"The AKNEYE space is unlike any other digital domain: it emphasizes the vision of the future of art, where there are no boundaries, and in that infinity a unique connection is born between the creator, the viewer and the environment", highlighted Vigen Badalyan, co-founder of Fastex.
Daniel Danielyan, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, announced that this year an unprecedented phenomenon is taking place at the Venice Biennale, since Armenia is displayed in two pavilions: the official territory of the Republic of Armenia and the AKNEYE Phygital Space.
Art curator Anastasia Dawson noted that AKNEYE Phygital Spaces are a combination of traditional artistic approaches and modern technological solutions. The fusion of sculpture and NFT technology enables viewers to experience a new reality, merging the physical and digital worlds.
During the Biennale, the AKNEYE Phygital Space positions itself as a non-competitive project, supporting the national Armenian pavilion. The space exhibits the works of many Armenian and world-famous foreign creators, with the aim of promoting the proper representation and dissemination of Armenian culture abroad.
The showcase will end on November 24th. Until then, there is a great opportunity to visit the newly opened AKNEYE Phygital Space in the heart of wonderful Venice.
