The “Made by Armenians” (MBA) 2025 exhibition was held in Ras Al Khaimah from February 20 to 22, in collaboration with Fastex, the AKNEYE project, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia and the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event brought together investors and consumers under one roof to showcase Armenian products and services.

 

The event was attended by Vigen Badalyan, Co-founder of Fastex, Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, Mohamed Al Nuaimi, Chairman at Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce,

Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the UAE Karen Grigoryan, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Gevorg Papoyan, as well as businessmen, investors and government officials from Armenia, the UAE and other countries.

 

Vigen Badalyan, Co-Founder of Fastex, stated: “I’m pleased to announce our plans to expand our geographic footprint in Ras Al Khaimah with two major projects worth around $100 million. One of these is an exciting new hotel and apartment development in collaboration with RAK Properties, with NFT versions available on Ortak. Additionally, we are establishing a strategic partnership with RAKEZ. We look forward to strengthening our presence in the region in the near future.”

 

As part of the “Made by Armenians”, the ftNFT Phygital Space, which combines art, technology and Web 3, received a special award as an innovative platform. Henrik Sargsyan, Director of the Dubai ftNFT Phygital Space, shared his insights:

 

“As you know, the ftNFT Phygital Space has been operating in the UAE for two years now. We opened our first branch at Dubai Mall. This is a revolutionary concept in the field of art. “Since then, we’ve hosted over 40 exhibitions from 20 countries.”

In his speech, the Minister of Economy of RA noted: "Armenia and the UAE have developed a dynamic and prosperous economic partnership. In 2024, our trade turnover surpassed $5.7 billion, doubling from the previous year. The increase in Armenian exports to the UAE demonstrates the growing demand for our products and the deepening of our business relations.”

 

The aim of the MBA 2025 exhibition was to spotlight Armenia’s diverse enterprises and their capacity to deliver competitive products and services to the UAE market. It served as an invaluable platform for forging new economic partnerships and fostering business growth.
